Participants in the 2009 Standard Overview will learn:
- The history and reasons for the new standard
- Brief review of current GD&T usage
- Changes in definitions
- Addition of modifiers (unequal, independency, continuous feature, etc.)
- Other changes (flatness, datum targets, composite position)
All participants will receive a copy of the new standard.
This course is intended for those who already have a working knowledge of GD&T. Most of these changes are also covered in the GD&T Fundamentals course, which may be better for those who are not fluent in all aspects of geometric tolerancing.
